About Me
I'm a marine scientist with a passion for data. I graduated from the University of Miami with a dual major in Marine Science and Biology. Recently, I graduated with my Master's Degree in Marine Science from Moss Landing Marine Laboratories in Monterey, California. My thesis focused on evaluating the seasonal varability of fish and invertebrate species found in the surf zone of Central California. Click on the research tab if you're interested in learning more. After completed my degree, I started working as a Reserach Scientist specializing in oceanography and climate science at the Farallon Institute. Through this job, I assist on a variety of projects using satellite and in-situ data to analyze long-term oceanographic trends and relate them to how ecosystems shift over time. In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors hiking and taking photos, spending my time in and around the ocean scuba diving or tide pooling, and baking for my friends. All of the photographs on this website are mine!
My passion includes data-driven decision making applied to environmental problems. Throughout my degrees, I've learned R, Python, SQL, Git, and Unix, all skills I apply to my research and career.
